Instruction
- Begin with 1x bean bag per student
- Ensure students are spread around area
Two handed catch
- Students throw bean bag in air (above head height) and catch with two hands
Snatch and catch
- Underhand throw around shoulder height with same hand then snatching bean bag with palm facing floor
- Switch to non-dominant hand
- Switch to alternate hands (throw with right, catch with left, vice versa)
Spin and catch
- Throw bean bag above head height, spin, then two-handed catch
- Advanced students should be given tennis balls
Around the shoulder
- Throw bean bag around back, over opposite shoulder and catch
Under leg throw
- Throw ball/bean bag under leg/s and two handed catch
Under leg catch
- Throw ball/bean bag above head height and catch between legs with hand coming through towards front
Throw, clap, catch
- Students throw tennis ball above head height and clap as many times as possible before two handed catch
Blind catch
Throw ball above head height and catch behind back
