In this activity the athletes will get into three lines in front of a stump and have someone in that group roll the ball out to them as they attack the ball and underarm it back to the person behind the stumps. The player will then throw it to the next athlete and will switch with person who threw before and head to the back of the line. To further evolve this drill the athletes can go further back with one player grabbing a baseball mitt which will allow the players to go and throw overarm with pace behind their throws.
GOAL: The goal of this drill is to have the players work on their positioning in front of the ball and their throwing ability to see if they're off balance when they throw or if they have proper technique when throwing.
