Phase of play designed to teach how to play out from the back in a 9v9 game. Focusing on CM's and there movement to get on the ball or create space
Establish possesion from the GK playing out the ball and object of the game is to find a way out to the target red's on the half way line. Ball always starts from the GK. Briefly go through previous 2 weeks and establish starting shape. Focus on the two CM's Start high up the field to create space. Drop in to make an option for the centre back, looking to get inbetween and behind players. Coach individual movement to lose your player in midfield. CM's movement towards the ball to draw in players and check out to create space for LW/RW or other CM. 1/2 touch in midfield looking to hit the target players early. If red's win the ball back they can go and score at anytime. Progess it to, once the ball is played out to the red target player, the red taget player can now join in and try and score straight away.
