Football: Back to Base

Description

Suitable sized square in relation to the number of players.

Scatter multi colored cones on the outside of the square, Depending on available of cones (domed vs tall cones).

Players are split into two teams and each player begins with a ball.

Coaching points

Players begin in the small tall coned square in the center of the large square, scattered with cones.

Each team has equal numbers and must dribble their ball, collect 1 cone that represents their team and take it back to coach in the middle.

Encourage soft touches, close control, head up to find available cones. Begin as practice but then introduce competition.
