
This is a double fielding drill incorporating a chase, pick up & return & an attack, pick up & return. This drill is to simply teach fielders to chase down the ball & using technique of correct pick up & throw & incorporates a second fielding component for hte fielder to then attack a second ball hit out with clean pick up & Throw.
All fielders at red cone. Hitter at stumps hits ball out straight. Fielder chases down the ball, pick up & return to keeper. Second ball is hit straight to fielder who attacks the ball, clean pick up and return to keeper. Fielder coms back to group. Can incorporate the slide pick up in the chase phase as fielders become more advanced.
