DESCRIPTION

Throwing at targets. Break the class into groups and practice throwing at a targtes. Explain how inportant it is to be able to throw the ball at the wickets when fielding. - Player practices throwing the ball at the wicktes using the over arm throw.- If the player hits the wicktes they get a point and the ball goes to the team opposite them. - If the player does not hit the wickets they just try again next time. Progression: - Turn into a game of battleships.- Team against team are both taking it in turns to hit the wickets.- First team to 5 wins.- when they have done this whenever they hit a wicket they go and take that stump out of the base for that team to keep.

COACHING POINTS

- Type of throw.- Use the non throwing arm to point at target.- Weight of throw.
