Batters take it in turns to turn and collect as many runs as possible while the fielders are collecting and returning the ball to the batters stumps. The ball starts on the 2nd red cone in the middle of the first fielder and the first wicket keeper. The fielder runs out from the start, collects the ball using a one handed pick up and throws the ball to the first wicket keeper who then passes the ball on to the second wicket keeper behind the batters stumps and tries to stump them out. When the batter is finally stumped out the roles rotate so the batter becomes the fielder, fielder becomes the first wicket keepr and so on.
This drill will devlop the speed of your fielding team but also allow the batters to practise running with the bat.
