Min of 2 players. One on each side. Very simple catching game where all the players work together to move towards the endzone. Two lines of cones are set out with the distance of the cones from each other being 1m. The gap between the two lines can be changed depending on the skill levels of the players. The greater the distace, the more challenging the game. The first red player starts with the ball, they pass it to the first green player underarm. If the green player catches the ball, they must then pass it to the 2nd red player and so on. Once a player has passed the ball to the next player, they must run around the back of the rest of their team to the next available cone and wait to receive the ball again. The caterpillar moves on and on until there are no more cones left and the team has reached the endzone. If a player drops the ball, the whole team must go to the starting positions and try again. Lives could also be introduced in this game. To make the game more challenging, single hand catches can be used, more balls can be introduced, the distance of the throws can be increased, throws can be overarm and the direction can change. You could also use this game as arace and come out with a winning pair or team.
