DESCRIPTION

1. Set up bowler in delivery stride

2. Use a set of stumps (or if younger player cone or little hurdle) as a point to drive back leg over

3. Bowl the ball and exaggerate driving back leg over the stump (cone or hurdle)

4. Finish delivery and repeat

COACHING POINTS

  • Drive back leg hard over the barrier - stump, cone or hurdle
  • Drive head towards target in delivery
  • Finish by driving back knee towards target (knee points towards batter) rather than rotating off towards cover
