The student starts off at the black cone next to the shot-puts. They will then have three attempts to push the shot-put as far as possible. The coach will mark where the shot-put lands. Once the coach has stepped back into the "safe zone" the student can pick up the shot-put and continue their attempts until their turns are done. Their best attempt will be recorder and this will be done weekly to see the students overall improvement.
