- 1x tennis ball per pair
Instructions
- Students stand on cones 10m apart, with witches’ hat at 5m mark
- Students take turns to aim to hit withes hat either with an overhand or underhand throw
- Focus on technique of step, pull back, follow through
Introduce competition
- Students aim to hit the target 3 times
- Introduce point system where if they hit base of witches hat they receive 2 points, and if they hit point they receive 4 points
- 30 second rule where students aim to hit witches hat as many times as they can within timed period
Activity extension
- Students will take turns at being thrower and aim to hit the witches hat
- Other partner retrieves ball and rolls it back to partner, where they then pick it up and aim at witches hat
