just wondering if you had any tips on how to teach kids about positioning

Hi Luke,

A good way to coach formation and positioning would be to set your team up in the formation that you would to play using the full pitch. Then use cones to put a 5 meter box around each player. Then get your team to pass a ball around but every player has to remain in their box. Players will be able to see the shape of the team when they are passing and get an idea of the position they are expected to play in.
