I am wondering if there is any drills to help teach kids to stay in positions they are a young age group so its hard so I am wondering if anyone has any ideas
I know it might sound strange but I have used hula hoops with rope tied between the hoops to show the kids how to move and stay in the shape we are looking to play. It`s a fun way for them and they seem to learn faster. It also helps them see how if someone moves one direction how everyone else should move to give support.
ok thanks for the idea
Agility Poles, set up to show them channels, does make it harder for the shuffle across which i see the hula hoops doing. But to stop young kids from following the ball around, I use the channels approach
in more ways than one
