Hi all can someone help with how can you challenge all player at the same time within a drill without making anyone standing as they are not as good as others? What is the best way of putting the player into the ugly zone?
Hi William,
I think that the best way to develop the players of lesser ability is to use conditioned games drills. This way, if mistakes are made, it doesn`t necessarily mean the drill is over, therefore putting less pressure on the lower ability players. This is also a great opportunity for them to learn from the more able players which is only going to help them improve quicker.
Conditioned game also include everyone but with smaller groups, mean players can`t hide which is great to build the confidence and ability of the lesser able players.
A personal favourite is Kabadi. It really emphasises the importance of a good first touch, however is quite a simple drill for the lesser ability players to get involved in.
I hope this helps and you can start to soon see improvements in those players!
