On a padded inclined bench the teacher supports the pupil through the roll by lifting the hips and ensuring that the head is tucked.
Key 1 Content Forward roll
From long sit position move to sitting tuck, and rock back on to shoulders. Rock back to sitting tuck, and move to long sit.
Pupil starts with feet together and straight legs and with hands placed on the side of the gently inclinned padded bench. Hips are raised so that the shoulders are infront of the hands. Hips are taken over hands in a tuck shape completing the roll wstading on the bench.

Forward roll with feet at a higher level than the hands. Feet are behind a line and hands are placed on a lower matted floor. By walking towards the edge of the mat on the toes, the hips are raised. The roll is completed in a standing position.
Start in front support position and raise hips. With legs straight walk on toes so that shoulders are in front of the hands. With legs extended take hips over head to long sit position.
Forward roll from tuck squat to tuck squat.
Starting in squat position complete forward roll with legs extended and with feet together. Hands are placed on the mats, by the hips, to help gain standing position.
The pupil starts kneeling with their hands on the mat. The legs are straightened, raising the hips, and the pupil walks on their toes towards their hands. After the shoulders pass over the hands the pupil rolls into a long sit position.
From stand with wide horizontal arms the gymnast reaches forward placing hands to mat. Hips pass over head in tucked position with weight being taken on the shoulders. Arms and shoulders reach forward. Stand
Run to two foot take off, jump forward roll to stand.
Run, two foot take off, back extention (Swallow Dive), forward roll to stand.
