DESCRIPTION

  • From stand with wide horizontal arms the gymnast reaches forward placing hands to mat.
  • Hips pass over head in tucked position with weight being taken on the shoulders.
  • Arms and shoulders reach forward.
  • Stand

  • COACHING POINTS

  • Hands to be placed on mat with fingers pointing forward.
  • Chin to be pushed down on to chest.
  • Weight to be transfered from hands to top of back.
  • Hands should reach forward and should not be used to push off mat to help gain stand.
