DESCRIPTION

  • Forward roll with feet at a higher level than the hands.
  • Feet are behind a line and hands are placed on a lower matted floor.
  • By walking towards the edge of the mat on the toes, the hips are raised.
  • The roll is completed in a standing position.

  • COACHING POINTS

  • Hips gain height by walking on the toes.
  • Arms reach forward enabling the pupil to stand without pushing on the mat with their hands.
