I currently manage and coach a under 7's team - i curently use the FA Level 1 coaching games as well as games from these webpages. We go indoor training from this week in a school hall - could anyone point me in the direction of some training games that could take place indoors - thanks in advance
Bench football is a great game i use this on my soccer coaching camps.
four benches one in each corner of the hall (could even use goals or gates as nets). split the group into 4 teams give them stupid name i.e burger king etc. give each player behind the benches a number for example 4 players in each team number 1-4.
ball in the middle
shout a number out
all four players with that number compete for the ball in the middle in a 1v1v1v1 situation.
aim of the game is to hit other teams benches to knock them out of the game. first player out get 0 points
2nd player out gets 1 point
3rd player out gets 2 points
last player gets 3 points.
players can only knock hit other teams benches for example
team 1 hits team 2 bench then team 2 go sit down
so now team 1 must hit team 3 and 4 bench if they hit team 3 bench they go sit down so there is only team 1 and team 4 left and they battle to hit each others bench 1v1.
coaching points
look for space to dribble into
small touches
be creative and try to take other player on

Possession without purpose is pointless. These drills combine ball retention with physical conditioning to create teams that dominate and outlast opponents.
Teams have just 6 seconds to exploit a turnover before defences reorganise. Learn how to train your players to attack with speed and purpose.
