I am running a summer session for ages 5 - 11. The?

I am running a summer session for ages 5 - 11. The session will last for 3 hours, I am only used to doing 1 hour session. amp; lt;br / amp; gt;Has anyone got any drills / ideas to keep the children interested for this length of time? amp; lt;br / amp; gt;Thanks in advance. amp; lt;br / amp; gt;Jon.

jon, how many coaches and boys have you got coming to these sessions, the age gap is immense and all drills are suited to each age. The young ones just want to play football, depending on how many young boys, we use a 4 goal pitch, colour code the goals for that team and let them try as many goals as possible, its all fun for them. 5-8 year old will enjoy these games, shooting not so important as the power isnt there yet, your 9 and 10 need competition games, have you tried world cup tourny at end of your sessions, either pair them up or individual?
