i coach 35 u7s and trying to keep them all entertained is a challenge! We train in a sports hall and divide this into 4 quarters and try to have 4 different drills going but anyone got 4 good games to keep them interested. Its tough having lots of kids of all abilities but its a good challenge!
I don't envy you one bit mate I was there once myself. Couple of drills you could use king of the ring - Where players have to defend their ball whilst trying to knock the others ball out, Panna whereby they play in pairs and have to try and get the ball through their opponents legs to score a goal by nutmegging them by catching them off balance and then on seeing a gap roll the ball through the legs of opponent, When using this drill i found that the kids really got into it and by the time they had enough there wasnt much time for a game. You could also try splitting the pitch into 3 sections and splitting the two teams up between the sections, the teams then have to work the ball up through the pitch by looking for their players in the next section to find space and receive the pass stopping the ball just over the line to score a point. It's taken me the best part of 6 weeks to get these drills out as the kids all love playing them and want to perfect one game before moving on.
Best of luck
