My first bit of advice is to get them to see a Dr, lumbar spine fractures are becoming increasingly common in the young cricketer and can have a massive impact later in life. I am speaking as someone who has had back pain since I was 13 and now I am unable to do anything without pain! If the Dr clears them then stretching the back is massively important and not over bowling the player is also critical
