Hi Virat,
Great to hear you`re getting back into cricket. When batting, it`s important to play a lot on feel and there is a great argument to suggest that some players are over-coached.
If you could play a whole range of shots before, then I would suggest that once you get back into the nets, things should begin to come back relatively naturally.
Instead of starting from scratch, it would be best to play naturally to begin with and recognise where your weaknesses are. This is where you can then start to tweak certain parts of your game to improve on what you can already remember from before.
Take a look at some of the technique videos on Sportplan and begin batting with drop feeds to start to get your feet and hands working again to really focus on getting a solid technique whilst still playing with some natural feel.
You can then work up to facing a bowler off their full run up once you have the fundamentals and feel back into your game.
I hope this helps!

T20 data shows that teams bowling 40 or more dot balls win more than 65 per cent of matches. Strike rotation is now the most undervalued skill in batting. This article breaks down why singles matter more than sixes, the soft-hands and crease-depth techniques behind elite rotators, and a coaching framework to train relentless ones and twos under pressure.
