You can try getting them to practice bowling technique from a standing start. Stand as a bowler would for normal delivery at the crease and get them to bowl at the stumps. Once they can do that try a one step run up and go from there.
Unless they can pick up the changes fairly quickly then it might be like forcing a left hander to write right handed.
