I have 4 and 5 year olds at my soft ball sessions and one of them is very good at throwing very straight. the little ones can enjoy modified coaching from a very early age as they just enjoy taking part!

Depends...if the coach is really good at Child Physcology, then 3-4 years old can really connect well with him/her. Else it takes time.

Ideally, if the kid can be taught very very basic cricket that is enough.Rest will depend on the kids interest , if they enjoy, they will respond within no time..else it will take a lot to get them to the mark.

If you are planning to get your kid to the cricket nets, please ensure he is having good health, eats well and most important is his/her interest in the game. Don't force a child, it will back fire.
