What lane is a batsman to run when running between wickets
I think you mean where should each batsman run!? The rule of thumb is that the batter facing runs directly at the bowler. No matter if he is bowling over or around the wicket. he then rteurns on the same side the bowler is bowling from. The non striker simply stays on the opposite side (to the bowler) and runs up and down the edge of the wicket, in this case neither batsman can obstruct the other.
