How to improve head position in cricket batting.

Hi Ela,
When working on head position, it`s best to start really basic with either a bobble feed or stationary ball. This will allow you to make plenty of successful repetitions to groove the correct technique. You are looking to lead with the head when moving into position to hit and your head should be as still as possible when striking the ball. Here`s a great drill to practice head position.

DESCRIPTION
Get batter to stand in their normal stance. Place a ball in front of them and ask them to pick it up. Player should automatically lead with their front foot and head to pick up the ball. This is the movement pattern to encourage. Can move the ball around and drill can be completed by the cricket at home.
