Session 9 year olds.

Hi, I have been asked to do an outdoor 30 minute session for 12 children, mixed ability and without knowing the children in advance. Would you advise to do a feilding session instead of batting and bowling? I need to yteach the skilla and use it in a game scenario. Thanks
