Practise is the key to picking spinners and backing yourself to score. Simple things to include in a game plan are being proactive with feet, using different stump guards to open different areas of the ground and having sweep options.

All this allows a player to bat on any surface against any spinner. The key is to watch the hand and keep movements late and sharp
