https://youtu.be/MJCCZvXCpiYPlease watch his youtube batting video and suggest his batting technique. Is he doing alright? Any changes he need to do in his batting technique. My son is 10 yrs old n playing school n club cricket for 2 yrs. Please assist. Thanks
He looks OK for a 10 year old Kulmani. He will refine his technique as he grows. You can help him by giving him more variety. Almost everything is pitched up and on the off stump. If anything is short it`s generally outside the off stump. You need to also throw some shorter balls in line with leg stump and get him to practice the pull and hook shots. You need to have sessions where you feed both short and pitched up balls so he begins to practice his footwork more. In the video he is almost always stepping forward. Unless he is ready for short pitched bowling when it comes then his confidence suffer.
Keep it up Kulmani, you`re doing a good job
