I am able to swing the ball but my pace is not fast, I am 170 cm tall and weigh around 60 - how can I add a yard or two of speed to my bowling?
According to Brett Lee these are the most important points:-
1) Stay out the gym room. No weights
2) Be a good runner.
3) Work on your flexibility.
4) Work on your lower core strength through sit-ups and push-ups.
5) Have the right momentum and balance at the crease.
6) A very high pain threshold.
Apparently Kapil Dev is a firm believer in point 1..

start wit a slow run up and slowly get quicker bring the ball down to your pocket swing behind and over the head then release at eye level carrying on swinging downwards.
