How do I hit long sixes in cricket?
I know I can hit sixes, but always they come in short from the boundary. I hit as hard as I could, yet the same. Why? Any known 'Chris Gayle' technique?
Hit the ball very cleanly of the middle of the bat and as close to the middle of the sweet spot as possible and hit it very hard so it has enough force to go to the boundary and also make sure that it goes to the boundary and not just straight up in the sky
Also, ensure you have a good backlift as this will give you more power
Excellent Kenton, a point I sadly overlooked
