I am planning to train my 4 year old daughter as she shows some interest in Cricket. She is connecting and hitting the ball well (of course with bottom hand like an axe)when I throw the ball along through the ground. What are the things I can teach her in this early age?

Hi Kiren,
With someone that age, simply make it as much fun as possible, so she wants to do more without you setting the agenda. If you can get her interested then you could look at buying Luke Sellers book called "101 Youth Cricket Drills Age 7-11" which is a great place to start for young players.

You will have to get on here and let us know when she plays her first Test.
Good Luck.

This article breaks down why singles matter more than sixes, the soft-hands and crease-depth techniques behind elite rotators, and a coaching framework to train relentless ones and twos under pressure.
Pre-season is the best time to rebuild and refine batting technique without the pressure of match results. This article covers the fundamental batting positions that underpin consistent run-scoring, provides a progressive session framework from shadow batting to live bowling, and highlights the common pre-season mistakes that coaches should avoid.
