Hi G,

The best place to start for any batsmen is grip, stance and backlift. Also the most frequently used shot when batting is the front foot defence/drive. Therefore the backlift and drive drill is a great to begin and develop a batsmans technique. Using a tennis ball bobble feed will get the batsmen used to hitting the ball whilst as a coach you can look to fine tune their technique. I hope this was helpful!
