Difference between In swing out swing
Asked using Sportplan Mobile App
If you ar a right handed batsman then:
Outswing will move through the air and curve out (away) towards the slips. Hence the name outswing. The main aim is to get you caught in the slips or bowled.
Inswing will move through the air and curve in towards the leg side. Likewise the name inswing. The main aim is to get you caught on the leg side or bowled.
Mirror image to lefties, but outswing for the right hander now becomes inswing for the leftie.
Inswing now becomes outswing for the leftie.
Hope that helps
