Is the bowler right or left handed? On which foot does he start his run up. Right handed bowler should start

run up on left foot and left handed on his right foot.

Use the four step high knee drill. This will let the player understand his rhythem.

Work from the end of the run-up rather than the start. Position them in the bowling position, and have them complete the action. Repeat, and repeat. Then start them a step back from the delivery stride, and get them to jump into the bowling action and deliver. Repeat and repeat. (can have them jump over a stump or similar laid flat on the ground to get them in the mindset of the leap into delivery). Then take it back another step, and repeat, then another step and repeat

This will work for kids bowling off the wrong foot, or with the annoying skip in their run-up. I have worked it out of some kids in one session. Others have taken a bit longer.

Remember though, if they are taking wickets off the wrong foot and them bowling “technically correct” is not going to make them better, then it may not be beneficial to bother
