Description
Needed? 12 cones, Balls, 6 players, goal
How? Attacker (blue) starts with passing the ball to the defender (red), who passes the ball back again. This starts the 1 beat 1. The attacker tries to pass the defender and score on goal. If the defender takes away the ball, they are allowed to take it to goal and score, the attacker is not allowed to tackle back.
Coaching points
- Staying low
- Moving the feet
- Keeping the attacker to one side
- Jab tackle the ball away and get back in good stance
- Attacker: take adavantage of space
Advanced:
When the defender gets it the roles flip, and now the attacker becomes defense and defense is trying to score on goal. Do NOT allow them ti flip roles again, play is over when neither of them can score.
