Handball: Number game

4 attackers start and try to score a goal. Defenders are positioned in two lines at the beginning. After every attmpt, attackers sprint to their start positions. Defenders have to choose an attacker and stay with him all the time the attack runs.

Attackers  dribble, feint, run free, pass and score - defenders try to prevent them from scoring a goal. - 5-8 or 10 attempts and then change attackers and defenders - with or without dribbling

Players go towards the goal in pairs Player 1 starts with the ball and passes to player 2. After passing they then sprint to the edge of the shooting circle, looking to receive the return pass. Once player 2 has passed the ball back to player 1 they should shoot on goal.

Player 2 then runs on, looking to draw the defender towards them. Once the defender has been drawn away from player 1 they then play the pass giving player 1 the chance to shoot unopposed on goal.

To set this game up you need a gymnastics bench at each side of the half court and two back to back benches (or a large gymnastics box if available) laying flat inside the middle of the area. In this middle area there should be a white player defending their side of the bench and a blue player defending their side. The white team tries to score by hitting the ball on the blue's side of the bench and the white side tries to score on the blue's side of the central bench. After every failed attempt to score the team who made the shot must touch one of the benches on either side of the area.

Playing inside half a court with a large mat in the center players try to press the ball onto the mat in order to score a point for their team. After scoring the ball must be played to a player on the opposite team on the side line and then start the attack again ( quick throw off imitation).

White players dribble through the various areas of the blue players and are accompanied by a blue player.

Two teams try to score by bringing the ball across one of the two lines. Both teams may score on both sides. When scored; the team in possession must try to score at the other line. Scorin twice on the same side is not allowed.

Teams play to bring the ball behind the line. Players are only allowed to pass the ball - absolutely no dribbling or no running with the ball allowed. Defenders can win the ball back by blocking their opponents or intercepting the ball.

Player 1 (white) dribbles through the various areas which are defended by blue players. The defending players try to win the ball from the attacker as soon as they crossed the boarder into their "territory".

Player 1 dribbles around the cone and at the same time player 2 sprints around his cone. Player 1 deliberately dribbles towards defender 1, trying to draw them towards them, before passing to player 2 once the defender has committed to trying to mark him. Attacker 2 now throws at the goal.

Player 1 dribbles around the cone and at the same time player 2 sprints around his cone. Player 1 dribbles deliberately towards their defender (defender 1) and passes to player 2 as soon as they are attacked by defender 1. Attacker 2 should use a combination of speed and movement to get past defender 2 and then shoot at the goal.

Player 1 dribbles around their cone whilst player 2 sprints around their cone. Player 1 deliberately dribbles towards defender 1 in an attempt to draw the defender towards them. Meanwhile player 2 runs forward, looking to draw the defender away from player 3. Depending on which player defender 2 marks player 1 should pick out the unmarked player. This player should then shoot on the turn at goal.

Attackers dribble towards the goal and throw at the goal. Once done, they get their balls back and go to the other queue.

Attacker 1 dribble towards the goal and passes to attacker 2 who throws at the goal. Once done, they get their balls back and go to the other queue.

Attacker 1 dribbles towards the goal and passes to attacker 2 who tries to score a goal. Once done, they get their balls back and go to the other queue.

Attacker 2 passes inside to player 1 in the middle. They then deliberately run towards the defender on their side of the court. They continue their run and use a fake to wrong-foot the defender, before pushing off their outside foot and driving off in the opposite direction - ready to receive the pass!

Attacker throws the ball to feeder player in the middle. They then run forward and feint past the defender without the ball before running the other way around the receive the return ball back from the feeder. The attacker then finishes the move with a shot on goal.

Attackers take it in turns to dribble towards the defender and take them on in a 1 vs 1.

The 2 attacker must progress up the court and get past both defenders, one at a time before having a shot on goal. Players can use a mixture of passes, feints and fakes to progress up the court.
