DESCRIPTION

  • Begin by demonstrating technique and ensure each point of the technique is covered.
  • Split children into groups of 6.
  • The groups then go into a section of the rounders pitch and bat with a fly away first to better there technique.
  • Then they move onto using tennis balls. 3 per group as fielders get one each.
  • When a batter has had there turn it rotates, Backstop to batter, batter to bowler, bowler to field, fielder to backstop.
  • Repeat until everybody has had a practice.
