In this warm up the player will be asked to run around the area with a tennis ball/rounders ball/cricket ball in their hands and will be told actions to complete whilst running around.
Action 1 - Command word (up), how many times can you clap underneath the ball before catching it again?
Action 2 - Command word (long barrier), players will be expected to stop and perform a long barrier before starting again.
Action 3 - Command word (swap), the players will find someone else in the area and will perform an underarm throw to them and swap balls.
Action 4 - Command word (ready), the players will get into the ready position as you would we fielding. (Wide stance hands out to catch).
Action 5 - Command word (out), when this is shouted the players will run as fast as possible and find a cone and stump, as if they were in a real game and their were trying to get the other batters out.
