when do i use 6%3A0,5%3A1,3%3A2%3A1,man to man defence systems

when do i use 6:0,5:1,3:2:1,man to man defence systems

First of all describe your intention of defending.
Do you want to go for the ball and win it when defending or do you want to make scoring possibilities for attackers as hard as possible? That is going to be your way of defending. Offensive defense systems are more suitable for winning the ball than defensive systems.

All systems can be played in many, many ways. Like offensive wing defenders, special guard for pivot, handing over pivot, offensive on one or two back court players etc etc.

6:0 system Mostly used when other team has good wing players and pivot. Defending as wide as possible to cover the whole circle is possible then. Every player has to help his neighbour in defending.

5:1 system To disturb attacks through the center of the defense. Special player as a guard for the pivot. Other players help eachother

3:2:1 defense Easiest defense system as far as helping out each other. Attack your own player as a main task and after that take care of the pivot. Quickly to learn and effective when training not so many times. Used to defend good back court players. weakest parts are the wing positions because wing defenders have to close the gaps to the center.

man-to-man defense To learn how to defend, in youth teams age 10-14, to learn good defending manners. In matches at the end of the match in which you are 1 or 2 goals back, to try to get the ball as quickly as possible back to go for your own goals. Perhaps not on all positions but on only one or two. Man-to-man at the wing positions, or at the center back court player.
