I have a case where a fictional female handball team (1st division) wants to get better in speed and agility. They want an annual plan with periodization for speed and agility. What does such a plan look like, what exercises are important in handball? I have only made annual plans for sprinters and cross-country skiers, and I can't find any examples of annual plans for handball.
Handballplayers need to be agile and fast as well. Try to change the exercises you know into handballlike types. There are many of them in our database.
Then look at the yearplan of the team first. There will be summerholidays with almost no activities. Then there will be the preparation for the competition, which takes about 2 - 3 monthes. In this period start with areoob work and gradually add anaroob exercises. This can be a mix of speed and agility. During the comopetition period there is always agility training involved.
Work in series and repetitions, which you already do, I think.
