Diveshot
Little kids should learn how to run and fall without hurting themselves first. There are many plays in which the fall, get up and fall again.

When you train kids like that, there will be less problems training older players how to do a proper diveshot.

There are roughly two manners.
1. Watch a very good player making a diveshot and immitate this technique. The trainer should know how to do it as well, so he can give feedback on what to adjust in the movement.

2. Step-by-step

  1. Sit on the floor - pass and catch balls when sitting.
  2. Sitting sidwards and passing (to get a good body rotation)
  3. On your knees - pass to another player. Landing should be done like volleyballplayers do: throw and landing with two hand and quickly get your body to the floor and pushing yourself forward. Then squat and pass.
  4. Then stand, squat and pass/throw.
  5. Then stand with your back to the goal, catch the ball, step leaving one foot on the floor turning on your forefoot, squat, throw.
