How to improve shooting techinque for a strong guy?

I am strong guy and I had a good jumpshot but when we switched to balls number 3 I can't shoot pretty well. Please help?

First watch the ideal technique of a very good player. Record it - watch it carefully. Then record your own motion or that one of your players` and try to improve it by immitating the correct technique. There are several good apps for phones available. For example: Hudl Technique. With this app you can play and watch videos along side eachother and even overlap them.
