After the first player has thrown the ball to the player next to them, they have to run all the way around to try and get back to their starting position before the ball does.
The key to success for the fielding team here will be consistency. Can they catch and throw under pressure to beat the runner?
With less experienced players you can move the fielding team inside the bases or have more players so that they're throwing over a shorter distance.
