Three players line up across the width of the pitch, these players are the return passers. When they receive a pass they throw it immediately back to the player who passed to them.
The remainder of the players have a ball each and start on the sideline. Their job is to run the width of the pitch, passing the ball to all the return passers, catching the return pass and then carrying on to the next player.
When they reach the other side of the pitch they run around the cone and then dribble as fast as they can to the back of the queue.
Progression: When players reach the cone on the other side of the court they should perform a dummy shot before then spinning around the cone and dribbling back as fast as they can.
Every player, except the players on the wings, runs out to receive the pass and passes it on again in the same direction.
Blue 1 starts the exercise and passes to blue 2 who runs forward and passes to blue 3 who also comes forward. The drill continues in this way.
After passing the ball players continue running in the same direction to the opposite cone, ready to repeat the drill again in the opposite direction.
One player stands at the top of the triangle, this player is the feeder. They stand in front of the three other players who are stood in a line.
The feeder throws a simple overarm to each player. When the ball is passed to them players should advance to meet the pass and then return it to the feeder.
The first player waiting in line passes to the first player on the cone and immediately follows their pass and runs behind that player to receive the return pass.
Once they have the ball in hand again they pass the ball to the next player and drive behind them to loop in front of them and receive the ball again.
Once the player reaches the end of the course they dribble the ball to the corner and then sprint around the court back to the end of the line with the ball in hand.
Players work in groups of three with one ball per group.
The worker (player 2) passes the ball to the feeder (player 1) and then follows their pass, looping behind the feeder.
Once they are behind the feeder they then call for the return pass which they then offload to the next player in line.
Drill continues in this way.
(moving with ball) - dribble - dribble with right hand - dribble with left hand - dribble with left/right hand in turns - roll ball, take it, roll it etc. - throw ball into the air, let it bounce once and catch it etc. - throw ball into the air and catch it etc. - throw ball into the air and jump off to catch it etc. - throws the ball from behind your back forward with two hands - run and let ball circle around your waist. - giveball under your knee to the other hand with every step - same, now when you skip - football dribbling - keep ball in front : skippings, run, walk on tip-toe, walk on your heels, heels to bottom - feint (dummy) when you run - pass on when you run
