Get into pairs and start off throwing at short distances and progress into throwing it further across the pitch.
Practicing making sure it's an accurate pass to the other player to be able to make sure this happens in a game.
Also make sure when catching they're brining the ball close into their body cupping it. This makes sure the ball is caught and not dropped which will speed the game up for the fielding team leading onto getting players out quicker.
Look at when the ball is being released and what height it's being thrown at. How the ball is being caught and if they're brining it in towards their chest or still leaving their hands away from their body.
