Hi John,
When it comes to reverse batting, it is very important that the batter in comfortable to make the shot and has full control over their bat. There are some great drills to instil greater control over the bat.
Once they`re confident to attempt the reverse batting technique, make sure they keep their eye on the ball the whole time and do not attempt to ever hit the ball. This will make the head come out of line and will unbalance the batter, reducing the effectiveness of the shot.
