One group faces the other. Start with handpass strong hand. Hand pass weak hand. Move the cones back. Kick pass strong foot. Kick pass weak foot. Pick up off the ground, foot under the ball, bring ball into the chest. Catch over the head, make a W with your hands, knee up.
Make sure the players receiving the ball are on their toes. Get the receivers to move to the ball rather than standing still. For the pick up, the coach will stand at the second cone, player will pick up the ball, drive forward and handpass to the coach. Take it back and put it down for his team mate. This is replicated for the catch over the head except the ball is thrown into the air.
