5 x 50m:

  • 50m front crawl arm pull using a pool buoy
  • 50m kick using a kick board
  • 50m full stroke
  • 50m backstroke arm pull using a pool buoy
  • 50m backstroke kick using a kick board

Move into shallow end of the pool to perform muscle specific stretches

Organisation points: Swimmers manage their time, setting off 5 seconds after the previous swimmer in order of ability.

Coaching points: maintain a comfortable pace to ensure swimmers are fully warmed up
