The 4 red defenders need to prevent the 3 oncoming blue
attackers from finding a way through the defence, whilst
also blocking off the through ball to blue 4 who is waiting
for the ball on the edge of the goal area
To start with blue 4 should stand still, as a stationary passing option.
As the drill progresses allow them to move along the goal area - forcing the
defenders to make more decisions - thinking about their positioning and whether
they should go and block the attacker in front of them or maintain their position
in front of the goal hanging player?
